The Forum
The Forum is a part of the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center complex, a very unique facility, providing cultural enrichment and a myriad of social and educational services by the 120 non-profit organizations that use the facility annually. It is a splendid community partnership between the private and religious sector and that of the County. The Community Center is the heart of a civic complex that includes the Centrum, a 63-acre park, the new 30,000 sq. ft. Barbara Bush library and a very busy Harris County Court House Annex. The Forum includes an Auditorium that holds a total of 385 people in its main level and balcony seating. There is a permanent organ that sits to the right of the stage. The stage (dimensions: 23 feet wide, 22 feet deep) is surrounded by seats on three sides with a wall of windows behind it that overlooks the Centrum and a garden area. The Forum also includes the Activity Room. This is a room used for many functions including wedding receptions. This room can accommodate about 100 people comfortably for a sit down dinner. There is a small kitchen attached to the Activity Room that can be used to host dinners and receptions. |
